Maximum Independence

Our residences offer a family atmosphere and staff dedicated to helping each individual reach their maximum level of independence.  In addition to our Main Residential Facility/Office, ReNu Life Extended, there are four residential homes located throughout the Wayne County area:  Pineview, Lakeview, Taylor and Tinderwood.  The goal of each group home is to provide living accommodations that increase each resident's level of independence by providing well-trained staff that can support, assist and encourage the resident toward their individual goals developed within their Person-Centered Plan while respecting their privacy

Post Acute Care

We provide residence based 24-hour rehabilitation to improve cognitive, physical, emotional and psychosocial abilities.

The Full Spectrum of Services

Every service the survivor needs is available as either an on-site or linked service.

Staffing

Our residences have direct care staff who provide hands on daily training and assistance. These staff are trained in TBI specific skills.

Individualized Care

Each survivor has a person-centered, individual care plan. This plan ensures that specific objectives are met.

Tinderwood
"Pineview," located in Goldsboro city limits, is a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom, two-story house. It features a large accessible kitchen with breakfast nook, comfortable visiting/living room, dining area and nice screened-in area out back to sit and socialize in. 
"Taylor,"  located in Goldsboro city limits, is a 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom (wheelchair accessible) ranch style home (newly remodeled) with an open kitchen and breakfast nook, comfy living area, inside accessible laundry area and a wonderful covered back porch. 
"Lakeview," located in Goldsboro, is a 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom (wheelchair accessible) ranch style home (newly remodeled) with open kitchen and dining area, quaint and cozy living area, big screened-in outside space to sit and relax. 
"Tinderwood," located in the Saulston area of Wayne County, is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom double wide mobile home (newly remodeled) with 2 living areas, traditional dining area, convenient kitchen layout, and laundry area as well as a covered back porch for relaxing.
