Goldsboro High School students came out on December 5th to sing some songs for the residents. Theirs was the first group of many to come this month as Christmas draws near.

The residents took a trip to Raleigh on November 20th to visit the NC Museum of History.
Seafood Lunch in Raleigh
On November 7th, the residents took a trip to Raleigh to enjoy some seafood and walk through the local farmer's market.
Halloween Party
ReNu Life's annual Halloween party on October 31st brought out all of the ghouls and goblins, all of whom were ready to party and have a great time hanging out.
Softball and Parachute Fun
The residents and staff set out for the park on October 16th to play softball and have some parachute fun.

On October 10th, the residents took a trip to Smithfield to have lunch at Golden Corral.

On September 28, the residents took their annual trip to the Wayne County Fair.
Downtown Goldsboro
September 25 was a great day to venture to Downtown Goldsboro to explore all of the beauty our little town has to offer. The weather was perfect and the time spent outdoors was a much needed change of scenery.
Crabtree Mall - Raleigh, NC
On September 11, the residents took a trip to Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh to savor the flavors offered in their diverse food court. They enjoyed lunch and a little shopping before heading back home for the day.
A Day at the Beach
The residents and staff took another trip to the beach on August 14th. It was a beautiful, hot summer day and everyone enjoyed the time near the water.
Lunch at Grandson's
On August 8th, the residents took a trip out of town to enjoy lunch at one of their favorite spots, Grandson's Buffet in Smithfield. The residents enjoyed the down home country cooking this family-owned restaurant provides.
AMF Bowling
At least once a month the residents take on the lanes at the local bowling alley. This particular set of images is from their July 17th trip.
Girls Just Gotta Have Fun...Tea Party
All about the ladies...on June 28th the ladies of ReNu Life took to Herman Park to enjoy a little girl time on the porch of the park center. They donned pretty hats and fashionable outfits to dish out some girl talk, make some crafts, and have a spot of tea.
Beach Trip
May 24th marked the residents first trip to the beach for the summer season. It was a beautiful day and the residents enjoyed hanging out with each other and the staff while taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean.
Legislative Day 2018
On May 22nd, the residents embarked on a trip to Raleigh to celebrate Legislative Day with Senator Pate and Representative Bell. The residents presented both gentlemen with gifts as a sign of their appreciation for the work they are doing for the community.
A Day in the Park
The residents had an outing at Berkeley Park on May 10th. They enjoyed a picnic lunch while taking in the local scenery.
Wood Ducks Baseball
On May 9th, the residents took a trip to Kinston, NC to watch the Wood Ducks play baseball. The Wood Ducks played the Myrtle Beach Pelicans and won by 2 runs.
Mayor's Walk 2018
On May 2nd, the residents took to downtown Goldsboro to participate in the annual Mayor's walk. The residents and staff proudly donned their bright yellow ReNu Life t-shirts for the event.
Fishing at Buckhorn Lake
On April 26, 2018, the residents took a fishing trip to Buckhorn Lake and had a great time catching fish and enjoyed a packed lunch before heading back home.
Governor Cooper Proclamation
Representatives of ReNu Life took a trip to Raleigh on March 26, 2018 to witness the proclamation of March as Brain Injury Awareness month by Governor Cooper. BIANC members were also in attendance to show their support for this event.
NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores
On March 22, 2018, the residents took a trip to one of the local aquariums in NC.
Brain Injury Awareness Proclamation
The mayor signed a proclamation on the evening of March 5th, declaring March Brain Injury Awareness month for the city of Goldsboro. Pier Protz escorted a few of the ReNu Life residents downtown to witness this event.

Harley Drag Racing Museum
On February 22, the residents took a road trip to see the Ray Price Legends of Harley Drag Racing Museum in Raleigh, NC.
Berkeley Mall
February 20th was a great day to take a quick trip to the local mall and enjoy some light shopping and concessions.
Valentine's Day Party 2018
Residents from all ReNu Life locations came together on Valentine's Day to celebrate love and friendship with one another. Staff and residents were crowned kings and queens for this special event. The winners took to the floor for a dance in celebration of their success.
Grandsons Buffet
The residents took a trip to Smithfield, NC on February 7th, to enjoy a hearty lunch at Grandsons Buffet. Grandsons is a frequented location for our residents. They enjoy the food, atmosphere, and the service they receive.
Whirligig Park
January 23rd was a day filled with innovation and excitement as the residents journeyed to Wilson, NC to visit the Whirligig Park. Whirligig Park is a unique attraction that showcases the many wind-powered sculptures of artist and engineer Vollis Simpson. The residents toured the outdoor park and enjoyed a bagged lunch before returning home for the day.
ReNu Life Pet Show
On January 19th, staff brought in their favorite pets to showcase their tricks and talents to compete for various titles at the ReNu Life Pet Show. Animals of differing species, from birds to cats and dogs, accompanied their owners to participate in this event.
