Once our Admissions Committee members have had the opportunity to review the referral application and the appropriate medical records that have accompanied the application, a consensus is sought as to whether the applicant fits ReNu Life's mission. It is also important that we feel that he or she is someone that could benefit from our program. If the Committee agrees, we will request a face-to-face interview with the Applicant and their guardian or family member.
It is important that the Applicant be present during the interview. It provides all present the opportunity to see where the individual will be living, eating and working on their rehabilitation. The committee members will also get a better opportunity to see what the applicant's needs are. ReNu Life does not accept program participants that are not wanting to be a part of this process.
The interview also provides us with the information to determine what a daily rate would be for the Applicant's room, board and rehabilitation costs.
